Meekulu’ s Children is a novel written by Kaleni Hiyalwa , published in 2000. Hiyalwa was born in Onhamunhama, a village in the Ohangwena region of northern Namibia. She spent many years in exile and was educated in Zambia and Cameroon. Hiyalwa taught at the Namibia Education Centre at the Kwanza Sul settlement, Angola.

Kaleni is a non-playable character in DragonVale and is Head of the Mountain Sun House. Kaleni was first mentioned as &quotEloni the Grower&quot, and later changed to &quotKaleni the Grower&quot, in the Epic Egg Hunt event as a significant part of the story behind the event.

While the first three are Namibian, Kehlani began her singing career as a member and lead vocalist of the band Poplyfe. After performing from city to city for two years, the band gave the audition for ‘America’s Got Talent’ (sixth season) and became one of the semi-finalists of the show. After this, Kehlani left the group because of several disputes.


Kaleni Hiyalwa’s story is relevant in giving strength to victims of sexual abuse during armed conflicts such the currently taking place in the DRC, Mozambique , Sudan and Central Africa .
